The famous bar trolley by Cesare Lacca, designed for and made by Cassina in the 1950's. Everything about this midcentury piece of furniture craftsmanship, quality and a timeless elegance.
The trolley has beautiful organic shapes, being made from blonde lacquered wood. It has a glass top and a wooden undertray. Two protruding arms are meant to carry a small serving tray. Not sure if this is missing or that it was optional back in the day. I see many examples without this tray. In any case, it isn't there.
The bar cart is in a good vintage condition and structurally sound. All joint align properly and there is no big damage. The lacquer has sustained some user marks over the years, I have tried to picture this to the best of my abilities. Please send a note for more pictures.
